Nitin has a basic qualification in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Kurukshetra followed by an MBA in Agribusiness Management from Institute of Rural Management, Anand and an Advanced Management Program  in Agribusiness from Cornell University, Ithaca. Prior to YES BANK, he has worked in senior management positions with respected organizations in India including ITC, Aditya Birla Nuvo, MCX & Reliance Retail.
