India Food Forum was formed in the year 2007 with support from MOFPI, Govt of India and leading Indian and global trade bodies to take up a series of support initiatives for the Indian Food Business.

The sole purpose of the India Food Forum is to connect all stakeholders of Food and Grocery, HoReCa and India Food Retail Tech businesses with their respective potential partners for profitable growth, collectively work towards new category development, increase consumption, share global practices and ultimately serve customers.

India Food Forum works in close cooperation with the Ministry of Food Processing, Food & Consumer Affairs, Commerce & Industry and also their affiliated trade bodies, councils, academic & research organizations. The forum advisory board members are invited for meetings with senior government officials – whenever required. However, the forum does not engage in advocacy.

Members of the board – representing top Food, FMCG & Food Service majors  — are invited to meet twice a year – to guide and support us with critical strategic advice on developing most relevant content and delivery through our knowledge platforms – publications, newsletters and portal, workshops, conventions and Food Council roundtables.
